Founded by the late Sri Si. Pa. Aditanar, Daily Thanthi
had its first edition from Madurai in 1942. Thanks to the
visionary zeal of the Founder, the publication started spreading
its reach to the four corners of Tamil Nadu and the neighbouring
states of Pondicherry, Karnataka and Mumbai.
Under the dynamic and inspiring leadership of Dr. B.Sivanthi Adityan,
Daily Thanthi grew further and spread its wings.
Daily Thanthi became the largest circulated Tamil daily within
a few years and has not looked back since. For over four decades
now, it is reigning supreme as the undisputed leader among
Tamil dailies. It has today 15 editions.
Daily Thanthi is the highest circulated Tamil daily in Bangalore,
Pondicherry & Mumbai, apart from being the largest circulated
daily in Tamil Nadu.
Daily Thanthi's editorial policy is neutral. The publication
does not support any one political party or government. The
language is simple and easily understandable.
