A flower auction was held at Sathyamangalam flower market yesterday. Farmers from Sathyamangalam and surrounding areas had brought 2 tonnes of flowers for this.

Among them, jasmine flowers (kg) cost Rs.1,330, jasmine flowers cost Rs.1,360, kakkada costs Rs.500, centumalli costs Rs.66, silk flowers cost Rs.120, jatimalli costs Rs.1,000, and kanacombaram costs Rs.600. -, Sambangi was auctioned for Rs.40, Arali for Rs.160, Tulsi for Rs.40 and Chevanti for Rs.80.
